It really was impossible in certain situations. If it wasn’t for my amazing GM Bobby, I would have quit way before I did. My manager didn’t like that Bobby still liked me as a worker because he tried everything he could to get Bobby to hate me, but it didn’t work, and he got in trouble instead for not helping when I was “double sat with two 8-tops”. When I worked at Applebee’s in National City, CA, working on Sundays meant that everyone from Tijuana wanted to come and spend the day in the U.S. Not that I have anything against Mexicans, but at least 90% were THE WORST TIPPERS!!!
